Tableau Developer-Exp-2-5yrs-FT (HYD, BBSR)
Published On: 2024-06-27We are hiring a Tableau developer to work with our clients (including Fortune 500 companies) in USA and Canada.
What you will do:
- Leverage Tableau skills to design and implement visually appealing, insightful reports/dashboards for clients to provide insights from data
- Talk to clients and team lead to understand the questions that would be answered with those reports
- Identify the appropriate visuals for your report to answer those questions
- Optimize Tableau dashboards and reports for performance and responsiveness
- Publish your data sources in tableau cloud (tableau server)
- Write and execute SQL and excel analysis to ensure data accuracy and support ad hoc analysis
- Quality is critical - test reports/dashboards to ensure that data is correct and the reports work as expected
- Maintain data pipeline for dashboards published on cloud/server
- Follow Agile/Sprints for development
Additional expectations from the position:
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to Tableau/Tableau Server
- Improve your knowledge in Tableau and related skills – Accelerators
- Work hand-in-hand with developers that design and build data models and ETL processes
- Develop Tableau Prep workflows for data cleaning, transformation, aggregation
- You need to be online upto midnight IST(that covers US noon in PST)
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in developing reports and data visualization in Tableau
- Create reports/dashboards - charts, tables, interactivity, formatting
- Know core Tableau concepts - filtering, data source joins, performance pitfall
- Experience in marketing analytics, specifically performance marketing analytics and advertising analytics (Preferred)
- Knowledge or previous work experience in Marketing Platform APIs (Google,Facebook, GA4, etc.) (Preferred)
- Good knowledge of MS Excel
